Labora Diagnostics Limited
Is a Class F Medical Laboratory registered by The Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board (KMLTTB) –License Number PO2/ 12101.
All Technical staff are registered by KMLTTB, and copies of the registration certificates are kept in the personal files.
Labora Diagnostics is designed to offer Safe, Compassionate, Accessible, Accurate, Reliable, and Timely Pathology services which meet the needs and expectations of our Clients.

Labora Diagnostics strives to produce reliable patient’s test results by combining processes that promote efficiency with technology that is appropriate and operated by duly qualified, trained and competent laboratory personnel.

Ethical Conduct
All staffs at Labora Diagnostics are guided by the Code of Ethics and Conduct (LD/ID/003) and are required to certify that they have read and understood the contents of the Code and that they will abide by it. In addition, the laboratory management also ensures that members of staff strictly adhere to the following:

That all its personnel are bound by the Ethical Code of Conduct (LD/ID/003) to ensure that there is no involvement in any activities that could diminish confidence in the laboratory’s competence, impartiality, judgment or operational integrity

That all members of staff not to disclose any internal and external commercial, financial or other pressures and influences that may affect the quality of their work. Members of staff are free to approach any member of Laboratory Management in confidence and share their personnel concerns. It is the responsibility of both the Laboratory Management and staff to generate and report data objectively and therefore no staff has authority to take any action or to require any action to be taken which interferes with the laboratory in discharging this responsibility, irrespective of the normal line of management.

No member of staff is allowed to use laboratory resources for personal benefit or for the benefit of any organisation owned by any of the staff members.

Responsibilities of all laboratory personnel of Labora Diagnostics are defined in order to identify conflict of interest. Where potential conflicts of interest exist, employee will complete the Declaration of Interest Form (LD/F/033) whenever the situation exists.

Laboratory Management also ensures that staff treat human samples, tissues or remains according to relevant ethical requirements

Confidential information shall not be disclosed to any third party without written authority from the Director and the patient. On orientation, all members of staff are trained and required to sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Form (LD/F/026) to prevent them from disclosing confidential information to outsiders.
